Ramayana Violates Green Land Allotment

Violation on public facility usage happens again. This time, the violator is Ramayana shopping centre, which located in front of Malaka Jaya Urban Village office, Jalan Teratai Putih, Duren Sawit Sub-District, East Jakarta, that has violated the allotment of a green land. The shopping center management has intentionally utilized the green land as parking lot for motorcycles.

Even though the violation has been happening for a long time, there is still no decisive action from related unit. Based on beritajakarta.com observations, the Ramayana management built motorcycle parking lot by cutting through the green land for 60 meters and built perimeter wall on river side.

Responding this matter, Head of East Jakarta Satpol PP Facility Section, Agus Sidik, said that his party cannot make action yet because East Jakarta Water Management Public Works Sub-Department has not given instruction to demolish the parking lot and perimeter wall.

“We’ll immediately demolish it as soon as we received instruction letter from East Jakarta Water Management Public Works Sub-Department,” he stated, Wednesday (5/7).

Meanwhile, Head of Malaka Sari Urban Village, Rima Dahlia, admitted that she has summoned Ramayana management and asked them to show the copy of building certificate.

“From that meeting, we had scheduled to view the location. But, it still has not been conducted until now,” she told.

Met in separate place, Head of East Jakarta Water Management Public Works Sub-Department Infrastructure Division, Supriyatno, uttered that his party will immediately come to the location to check the matter.

“We’ll come first to the field. If there was a violation, we will immediately take action,” he asserted.
